2kW residential Solar PV systems
Background
Norfolk Park is a new housing estate in touching distance of Sheffield city centre.
As part of the UK's ambition to move towards renewable energy, housing developers are increasingly adopting solar panel systems to enhance the appeal of their new builds.
We collaborated with the developers of Norfolk Park to integrate sustainable solar panel systems to their homes.
The Challenge
Recently, more than ever, the UK's renewable energy demands are growing, with a significant emphasis on embracing sustainable energy and reducing our carbon footprint.
Housing developers are therefore becoming more aware of this and the growing number of homebuyers who value energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
To align with these trends and make the houses at Norfolk Park more attractive and sustainable, we embarked on a project to install seven 2kW Solar PV systems.
The Solution
Our approach was to integrate solar panel systems into each house within the Norfolk Park estate.
These 2kW systems were strategically placed to harness solar energy efficiently, providing homeowners with a renewable source of electricity.
The systems not only contribute to a cleaner environment but also reduce energy bills for new residents.
Results
These new systems not only contributed to the reduction of carbon emissions, but they made the houses more appealing to buyers.
Homebuyers in this estate are now not only investing in modern and energy-efficient homes but will also be benefitting from lower energy bills, and a a feeling of doing good for the world.
